When Cinderella was 5, her mom feel very sick and there was no cure for the disease. Before she died, Cinderella’s mom gave Cinderella an expensive dress, jewelry, and a pair of glass slippers.

The dress, jewelry, and the glass slippers were from Cinderella’s mother’s uncle, who was an advisor to the king. The king himself gave the dress to Cinderella’s mother’s uncle, who gave it to his wife, who gave it to her sister, who then gave it to Cinderella.

“ Do not give anyone these things, except your future daughter!” Cinderella’s mom said over and over again.

When Cinderella’s mom died, Cinderella’s dad married a nasty woman, with nasty daughters as well. Even when she was 5, Cinderella had to do Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters chores. A year later, Cinderella’s dad died.

10 years later, when Cinderella was 15, she was still doing chores. Cinderella still remembered her mother’s final words, didn’t sell the priceless items. Cinderella had a feeling that she would need them soon.

Soon enough, that time came. The prince was hosting a ball for all woman in the area. Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters luckily didn’t know about Cinderella’s dress, because they only gave Cinderella 1 ragged dress to wear. Cinderella’s face was covered with grime, from cleaning the fireplace. Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters went to the ball thinking that Cinderella couldn’t go to the ball, because of the condition she was in.

As soon as her stepmother and stepsisters left though, Cinderella took a bath to clean the grime off her face. Then, she wore the dress that her mother left Cinderella when Cinderella’s mother died. The dress fit Cinderella perfectly, as though this dress was made for Cinderella. Cinderella finally put on the jewelry and the glass slippers, and she looked like a princess, as she went to the ball.

Cinderella didn’t need directions to go to the ball. She heard music, talking, laughter, and lots of fun. When she walked into the ballroom, 6 doormen stood at either side, bowing Cinderella inside.

For about half an hour, Cinderella ate everything she possibly could without making it beforehand, eating only the leftovers, and cleaning up after.

Once Cinderella was properly fed, she looked around the ballroom. Most of the crowd was gathered at the back. Cinderella pushed her way to the back, and saw the prince, dancing with a woman, a frown fixed on his face.

There was a huge line of woman waiting to dance with the prince. When Cinderella saw her stepsisters waiting in the front of the line, Cinderella stepped back, trying to go to the side to watch, but the prince spotted her. “Come and dance with me, fair lady,” the Prince said. Everyone in line stared at Cinderella, including Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters, who were glaring at Cinderella. Cinderella took his hand and danced. Someone drew a picture in the background.

Cinderella heard a mutter behind her, and recognised the sound as her stepmother saying “Lets go. This is a waste of time. Cinderella better not be taking a bath,”

Cinderella’s heart stopped. If her stepmother found out, she would be dead. Cinderella forgot about dancing, and sprinted out of the door, to her house. Luckily, Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsister were taking her time, or else she would have been in big trouble.

When Cinderella reached home, she went to the cellar, which was her room. She put her ball dresses and slippers in the hiding spot she had used since her mother died, which was the back of the closet which was used to put cleaning equipment. Then, she put some dirt on her face, so it looked like she had never taken a bath. Finally, she pretended to wash dishes, until Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters stepped inside.

“How are you so lazy?” Cinderella’s stepmother snapped. “How can you still be doing the dishes!”

“I spilled soap on the floor, so I had to clean it up,” Cinderella lied, and luckily, Cinderella’s stepmother fell for it.

“Now make me some food!” Cinderella’s stepsister demanded, and Cinderella sighed, as she made a snack.

The next morning, when Cinderella went to get the mail, she saw that on the first page of the newspaper, she saw a picture of herself, dancing with the prince. In bold words under the picture, it said that the woman in the picture will be married to the prince.

Cinderella squealed in excitement. She could be married to the prince and live in the palace, and all she had to do is show her dress and shoes to the prince. In the article, it also mentioned that royal attendants would be going house to house, looking for the girl in the picture, and there was no need to go to the palace.

While Cinderella was cleaning up after lunch, an attendant knocked on the door, with the prince himself, holding the picture. The prince’s eyes darted around the room, looking for the woman in the picture. Cinderella made some tea for the prince and attendant, and sprinted up to the cellar to go get dressed.

Cinderella came back looking identical to the woman in the picture. The prince beamed when he saw Cinderella.

“There she is!” The prince cried. “The one in the picture! Come, let’s go back to the palace!”

“No!” Cinderella’s stepmother cried. “The girl stays here with us!”

“Absolutely not!” The attendant yelled. “In this land, you can not have a servant until that person is 18 or older! This fair maiden is most certainly not! Your daughters will be arrested with you, because they didn’t report someone breaking the law.”

While Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters went to jail, Cinderella moved into the palace.

The years that followed were Cinderella’s best. She didn’t have to do any chores, she could sleep on a nice warm bed rather than the cold hard floor attic floor. Even though Cinderella had everything she wanted, she made sure that every poor person in the kingdom had enough food, cooked by Cinderella herself, and sometimes went to places outside of the kingdom, and arrange new jobs for those who didn’t have one.

14 years later, Cinderella had a daughter named Lisa. Cinderella was the queen and her husband was the king, as the former king and queen had passed away. Cinderella taught her child to be diligent and selfless, and not to be greedy of what they had in the palace and to always help others.

One day, Lisa wandered into Cinderella’s room, and found Cinderella’s ball dress, along with the jewelry that she wore. When Lisa asked about the dress, Cinderella narrated the story.

Even though the dress didn’t fit Cinderella, she still kept it, and gave it to Lisa. The dress and story were passed down, and somewhere in the middle, someone added something about a fairy godmother, clothes that disappeared at midnight, and a broken glass slipper, and soon evolved into the fairy tale, Cinderella. The dress and jewelry were lost in a generation, perhaps sold or stolen, and it soon became a popular design. Some of the descendants of Cinderella are still living to this day.
