You know that feeling when you get home from school and there’s a deafening silence, but there’s one sound you can hear which is your stomach growling? Well, lucky for you I have some snacks that are quick and easy to make that will end your hunger. This article includes pizza bagels, cheese w/ crackers & parfait.
PIZZA BAGELS
If you are wondering what in the world a pizza bagel is, don’t worry. A pizza bagel is a bagel, mini or regular sized, that is topped like a pizza with tomato sauce, cheese and any additional things you would like to add. Depending on what size your bagel is, (and the way you like it) the amount of each ingredient will vary.
Bagel(s): This depends on how many you want to make, one bagel makes two pizza bagel, (gets cut in half)
Tomato Sauce: As many spoonfuls of sauce that you need to cover your bagel
Shredded Cheese: However much you want
Additional Toppings: Up to you
Instructions:
- Start by getting your bagel out and cutting it into halves carefully
- (Optional Step) Then toast the halves slightly
- Get your spoonful of sauce (or multiple) and spread it evenly on your bagel halves
- Next, sprinkle your cheese evenly on top of the bagel halves
- Now, you want to make sure you have placed your two parts on a microwave-safe plate
- (Optional Step) Then you can place your plate in the microwave for *about 40 seconds to melt the cheese
- Once your pizza bagels have finished being microwaved you must take them out of the microwave carefully
- It is important to wait for your pizza bagels to cool before you try to eat them
- Enjoy! Note: This may get messy due to too much sauce on your bagel

CHEESE WITH CRACKERS
You might be thinking I already know what cheese and crackers are! But trust me this is not about knowing what they are. This is about knowing the perfect way to assemble and prepare cheese with crackers. This is a lot simpler than the pizza bagels.

Instructions:

- Get your ingredients
- Carefully cut the cheese into about ½ inch slices
- There are two options now:
-Arrange the cheese and crackers on a plate
OR…
-Make some cracker/cheese sandwiches and then set up the plate
- Eat and Enjoy!
PARFAIT

Let’s be real, parfait sounds like some kind of weird French gourmet alien food. It’s not. Parfait is like yogurt with toppings like granola, cereal, fruit, chocolate (chips), etc. There are many many different types of parfait with may many different toppings but this is just a very basic and simple vanilla with fruit and granola.
Vanilla Yogurt: About 1 cup
Fruit: Any berries will work, about a handful
Granola: You can use cereal or oats (anything like that)
Instructions:
- Gather your ingredients
- Scoop the yogurt into a glass and even it out
- Sprinkle however much granola you want on the yogurt
- Put berries on top
- Optional: If you want to be extra and put a spin on this, you can put some additional toppings such as honey, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, etc.
- Eat and enjoy!
