French Students Visit Grover Middle School By Madame Chiocca

On May 13^th 24 French students and their teachers embarked on the voyage of a lifetime…a trip to the US.  The trip was organized by Mme Chiocca and her counterparts in France.  The French students were hosted by West-Windsor families, who warmly welcomed them into their homes.

During the week, the French students visited New York City with the exception of the one day that they followed their host students schedule at school.  That day, many of our students had the opportunity to interact with them.  On the weekends, the families arranged activities such as a trip to 6 flags, a walk through Princeton, a day at the boardwalk, etc.  The memories of this week will last both the French and American students forever, and many of them have forged long lasting bonds of friendship.  Since this was such a rewarding experience for everyone involved, Madame Chiocca and the French teachers are planning future visits.  Vive la France!
